In the fan park in Ilshofen during the World Cup not only all matches will be shown on a large screen sized 32 m² but also there will be lots of attractive offers for entertainment outside the Arena Hohenlohe where the event will take place. Every day an after show party will start at about 9 pm in one of the halls next to the arena where football fans can celebrate getting disco or live musik. The team of the World Cup Southern Hub has been able to win strong ambassadors who support the activities all around their project including three fan parks in Southern Germany. All of them are famous sportsman and boast great victories in their sports careers. Furthermore they are closely connected with the Heilbronn-Franken region.

World Cup Southern Hub on International Fan congress
The initiative of the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation „Fans for Football “ invited fan representatives to his International Fan congress in Bonn. On April 6th and 7th visitors from 15 countries spoke about fan culture and expectations of the fans concerning the World Cup 2006 in Germany. For all participants it was very interesting to learn about that issue. The congress showed that all countries are poorly provided with tickets. Therefore fans are very happy to be informed about alternative places where football fans can celebrate and enjoy the World Cup. Return and transference of tickets for the World Cup possible
Since 27th of March match tickets for the World Cup 2006 can be returned. The 2006 FIFA World Cup Organising Committee Germany recently opened an internet ticket portal for fans. At www.FIFAworldcup.com fans will be able to return match tickets or transfer these to other fans by completing an online form on the website.
The World Cup Southern Hub presented itself in Berlin
The managers of the World Cup Southern Hub – It’s your-kick! powered by DEKRA Arbeit presented their project last Thursday in Berlin to ambassadors, delegates and international representatives of the press. There was a Media Talk to emphasize the unique nearness of the region Heilbronn-Franken to four world-cup-venues.
The diplomats, delegates of the German Bundestag and journalists were impressed by the project and think it will be received positively by the fans. The Australian ambassador Pamela Jean Fayle was also among the guests and found out about the region where the Australian football team will stay during the World Cup.
Australian team will come to Öhringen-Friedrichsruhe
The national team of the Football Federation Australia is going to take up quarters at Wald- und Schlosshotel Friedrichsruhe, in the heart of the Heilbronn-Franken region, for the qualifying round of FIFA Soccer World Cup 2006. Otto-Meister stadium in Öhringen will be the training grounds for the team gathered around their coach Guus Hiddink. This announcement was made by the Football Federation Australia.
